Doce Mezcal is a true gift from the earth — dynamic, filled with heat & created with passion and tradition.
Doce Mezcal is produced in Santiago Matatlán under Maestra Mezcalera, Margarita Blas. The spirit is handcrafted from 8 year, 100% Espadín Capón agaves that have reached peak maturity stage, giving it the maximum amount of flavor.

After harvesting, the quiotes are removed and the agaves are left in the fields for three months to enhance the cultivation process.

The piñas are then roasted for five days using a blend of pine and oak wood and crushed using the traditional tahona method. Fermentation occurs naturally, without the addition of yeast, and the mezcal is double distilled in copper stills. Recycled water filtration from the palenque is used, contributing to a balanced spirit with subtle smoke and heat.Doce Mezcal offers notes of honey and pepper, delivering an earthy, invigorating, and full-bodied spirit with a refined, velvety finish.

Mezcal Negroni

INGREDIENTS

1 oz. Doce Mezcal
1 oz. Campari
1 oz. Sweet Vermouth Dash Angostura Cocao Bitters
Half orange slice for garnish

PREPARATION

Into an ice-filled mixing glass, pour Doce Mezcal & add the vermouth + Campari and stir very well. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice. Add an orange twist and serve.

INGREDIENTS

1 oz. Dolin Blanc vermouth
2 oz. Doce Mezcal
3 dashes King Floyd’s Chili Bitters
Pinch wormwood salt
Orange peel

PREPARATION
Combine vermouth, Doce Mezcal, and bitters in mixing tin/glass.  Add ice and stir to dilute to 4 oz. Strain into a chilled coupe glass, garnish with a pinch of wormwood salt & expressed orange peel.

Citrus Spritz

INGREDIENTS

2 oz. Doce Mezcal
.5 oz. Orange Liqueur
2 oz. Blood Orange Juice
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz. Agave Syrup

PREPARATION
Combine Doce Mezcal, orange liqueur, blood orange juice, and agave in a shaker with ice. Shake thoroughly. Pour into glass with ice. Garnish with fresh orange weel and Tajin rim.
